The deep 60mm rim profile is 21% percent more aero than 44’s at 30 mph while the unique contour improves side wind stability. This stiff and responsive deep section wheel set really shines in individual and flatter mass start events.

If you are on a bike with disc brakes, and looking for an aero wheel option for faster events, the 60mm clincher is the perfect solution. Road bikes with disc brakes are starting to show up everywhere, and used in events where aerodynamics are still the most important force to overcome. We like to say that 95% of serious racers would use the 60mm depth in 95% of their races, and if the vast majority of races are having you in the big chain ring for most of the race, then the 60mm depth is great for you. This wheelset will keep you moving, and when you need, will stop you quickly!

TUBELESS

We have been working on our new tubeless rim bed profile for years, delivering a rim that can safely run tubeless tires as well as well as normal tube and tire. To read more about the Boyd tubeless difference, click here.

Adding the Tubeless Kit: The tubeless kit above will include our new (blue) tubeless tape and tubeless valves pre-installed on the wheels! We will install two layers of the tubeless tape in the exact width you need for your wheels. We will also include and install two of our tubeless valves in the exact length needed for your wheels. Take the guess work out of converting to tubeless and let us do it for you.
Note: you will still need a tubeless specific tire and sealant to run the wheels as a tubeless system.

DISC BRAKE SPECIFIC

Our disc brake rims are made specific to being laced into disc brake hubs. There are no brake tracks on the rims, and angles are drilled 3d specifically for disc brake hubs. You can not run these on a caliper brake bike!
