With the wide 21mm internal width, the Altamont is perfectly suited to road rides with 25mm+ tires and even gravel rides with up to 40mm tires. A unique tubeless locking bead shelf helps prevent burping at even the lowest tire pressures, yet can withstand the high pressures of road tires.
Aero Pillar Wing 20 spokes compliment the ride as a wheelset that is aero, yet forgiving when riding on choppy chip seal or gravel roads. A 2.8mm spoke offset makes for a better balanced wheel with more even spoke tension between right and left sides. The result is a wheelset perfect for training, racing or general performance riding.
This handcrafted wheel is laced with aero Pillar Wing 20 j-bend spokes and brass nipples. Two or three cross lacing pattern built to withstand high-torque loads, and the alloy rim is light but handles even the harshest of terrains. This wheel spins on the Grade 54 disc brake hubs that feature six degrees of engagement, quick swap freehub body, press-fit end caps and is compatible with all freehub bodies. This disc brake specific wheelset weighs in at 1406g and is for every day and every road.

Featured in the Podium level wheels is the Grade 54 hubs featuring a straight pull flange, high strength steel ratchet with 54 teeth giving 6.6 degrees of engagement, and the low weight to help you fly up the steepest of hills.
