How we built a carbon wheel for every day.
1 - Performance Targets First
Durability, stiffness, and ride feel come first, so this is a wheel you ride every day, not one you save for race day.
2 - Rim architecture
A 44mm profile for real speed on the flats, with a 22mm internal width that supports modern 25mm to 38mm tires. A hooked bead for tire security and the widest range of tire choices.
3 - Carbon layup strategy
A reinforced layup built for everyday durability, with carbon placed where real-world impacts land. The result is a 415g rim.
4 - Dimensional control + QC
Bead seat, ERD, and critical interfaces inspected so every build starts true.
5 - Spoke & tension plan
Pillar XTRA 1424 spokes with brass nipples, laced 2X front and rear, chosen for long-term durability and easy service.
6 - Handbuilt, stress-relieved
Multiple tension cycles, stress relief, and final balance checks. Stays true ride after ride.
7 - Final inspection
Runout, dish, tension balance, hub function, and tubeless setup checked before it ships.

Carbon Rims
Every cut and ply of carbon plays a story in how a rim responds. Reinforced layup where it matters to add extra strength and make the 44mm Prologue an everyday wheel, not just for race days.
Grade 36 Hubs
The new Grade 36 hubs are built for reliability, durability, and performance. Weighing just 340 grams for the set, the hubs feature a ratchet drive system with 36 teeth and just 10 degrees of engagement
TPI Bearings
The TPI Abec 3 bearings are used throughout the industry as a reliable and durable bearing that rolls smoothly and provides the longevity for use in all conditions.
Handbuilt
Every wheel goes through 5 different work centers, before being QCed for true, run out, and spoke tension. This ensures every wheel will keep running as true as the day you received them.
Grade 36 hubs
Featured in the Prologue level wheels is the Grade 36 hubs featuring a J-Bend flange, high strength steel ratchet with 36 teeth giving 10 degrees of engagement, and the low weight to help you fly up the steepest of hills.
